Make an impact: In this position you will: provide skill-based swim and water safety instruction to people of all ages; maintain constant supervision of students to ensure safety; create positive, nurturing relationships with students and builds cooperative relationships with parents and caregivers; promote and support the potential of all students in program; facilitate peer-to-peer connections as part of the overall program experience.

Candidates must have strong swimming skills (see below) and experience working with children.
Swim Instructor candidates will be evaluated on the following swimming skills:
Candidates are required to attend, and pass, a CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Administering Emergency Oxygen course on Sunday, June 2nd. Swim Instructors are required to attend, and pass, a YMCA Swim Lessons Instructor certification course June 16th-17th.
