Job Description

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development,healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direction of the Executive Director, theMembership Directorwill provide all aspects of leadership to the Member Services department.

Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college
  • High quality human relations and communication skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse population
  • Staff supervision skills
  • Computer skills (Active, Excel, Word, Facebook and Webpage)
  • Mathematical Aptitude

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the recruitment, training, and supervision of department staff.
  • Provides excellent service for our members and community.
  • Responsible for annual performance appraisal of all department staff.
  • Coordinates and makes sure department marketing and promotional material is relevant and up to date.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing evaluations that measures quality and member satisfaction.
  • Represents the Y at community events.
  • Achieves revenue and expense targets for department.
  • Contributes to a dynamic team with an overall budget of 6 million.

$21.64 - $26.44
