We are currently, recruiting for an Association Director of School Age and Camp.


A minimum of five years’ Experience with staff leadership in Early Learning. Bachelor’s degree in Early Learning Education, and or related field. Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to influence others. Expectations of high level of professionalism. Ability to perform under deadline, multi-task, management and group leadership skills. Must have flexibility to work beyond normal work hours when necessary or asked. Skilled in use of personal computers and Microsoft Office software. Ability to drive to branches and events.

Essential Functions

This position will work with the Vice President of Youth Development to develop, plan and carry out logistics for Association wide SACC (School Age Child Care) and Camp objectives and activities. Works closely with Youth Development branch directors to lead, train and retain qualified staff. Works closely with VP of YD to standardize operating procedures and standards of quality for school age child care programs throughout the association. To include but not limited to the following as per VPO: Lead SACC and Camp Service Teams, implement and monitor Child Care Standards of Service for ACA Accreditation, licensing agencies regulations and standards. Provides leadership, guidance and direction regarding operations, finances, program management and long range planning for continuous improvement, and efficiency. Ensures EZ to Enroll and Camp Descriptions/Website are updated. Directs the expansion of YMCA SACC and Camp services in the community.
