Library–Tsunami 2004: YMCAs Respond
In the wake of the tragic tsunami of December 26, 2004, YMCAs and their communities in South Asia, particularly those in Sri Lanka and India, were severely affected. YMCA World Service is supporting the affected YMCAs as they adapt their focus accordingly, creating sustainability and programs that meet the needs of their youth, families and communities.
