Youth Leadership & Service-Learning
Investing in young people is the starting point for YMCA programs around the world. When youth are seen as part of the solution, their creativity, values and energy can stimulate positive change in the community. Through volunteerism, service-learning and other methods, YMCAs assist youth in building relationships, leadership skills and work habits that enhance their long-term development.

The values and developmental assets that young people build in YMCA programs increase their educational and economic opportunities and nurture a life-long commitment to civic participation.
