Moving Wall Panels

A group of 11 members volunteered four hours each to move 26 pre-constructed wall panels from a local Habitat for Humanity facility to a new home construction site.  The volunteers loaded the panels into a truck, and then followed the truck 30 minutes to the construction site.  The panels were unloaded and prepared for the next volunteer group of builders to come in.

Family Has a Place to Call Home

Three months later, with the help of 27 different volunteer groups and 959 volunteer hours total, a family was handed the keys to their new home.  The opportunity for affordable homeownership increases this family’s chance for independence and economic well-being.  It’s a dream come true!
