The Project Begins with You

In some way or another, our lives have been touched by the three things that make the Y community so strong: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. By listening to each other's stories, we're able to catch a glimpse of all the hope, strength, and determination across the country and how everyone's living the Y's values. But what exactly is it about the Y that means so much to us, our families, and friends?

This question was on the minds of more than 90 members nationwide who have benefitted from the Y's programs and service with the call to capture footage from around their communities and—most of all—have fun telling their stories in their own words.

  • Dany revealed how the Youth and Government™ program offered a safe place she calls home
  • Over in Ohio, Bill praised the Y for helping him walk again in water
  • Sarah's sharing how the Y's immigrant services opened the door to a country full of promise (video to come).
