Principles of Flight Challenge
Grade Level: 3-8
Are you a parent or teacher interested in bringing Healthy Kids Day into your home or classroom? Brought to you by Delta Air Lines, the following paper airplane challenge will be taking place at multiple locations throughout the nation.
Designed to help youth learn about the physics of flight through experimentation and engineering design, paper, paperclips, and pencils are all you need to engage kids in this wonderful activity!
Use this paper airplane challenge to help kids increase their ability to:
- Design and redesign
- Generate creative solutions to problems
- Make sound judgments and form conclusions
- Understand the physics principles involved in flight
