At the Y, we believe that the road to eating healthy begins with choosing small steps that lead to big changes. With a balanced approach, even the busiest families can discover ways to eat healthier and feel better.
With so much information and so little time to plan and prepare, it can seem that eating healthy is a nearly impossible task in today’s world. Fear not. There are simple steps that even the busiest families can take in order to increase the number of healthy food and drink habits they build into each day. Just remember that “everything in moderation” still holds true. Special treats, trips to the ice cream store and the occasional cheeseburger are just fine when balanced against choices that are mostly healthy and are combined with an active lifestyle. Here are some simple habits and steps you can take to improve your family’s daily approach to healthy eating.
