Flaky Mom

I tried. I really did. I did my best to still stay on top of child-rearing, maintain a healthy relationship and keeping up with friends and family while also holding down a job. Despite my best efforts, I’ve come to the realization that I’m kind of a flake.

It struck me during orientation how well prepared camp counselors are to enter the workforce. In just one week, camp counselors learn professionalism, collaboration, and responsibility. This personal and professional development does not happen in a strictly academic setting.
