Teaching Kindness

I am far removed from the days of my childhood when I was teased for being too skinny, too tall or too awkward. I’m somewhat ashamed to admit it took me years to get over the complexes I developed from being teased by other kids. The unfortunate reality is, words can and do hurt.  more

The Age of Entitlement

Many of us have been there. As children, we often want what we want when we want it. I was an unusually considerate child growing up (my mom’s words, not  mine), so I didn’t gripe much about not getting material things. Noteworthy November
