A group of teens wanted to create awareness about the environment, so teamed up with their local Y to host a conference. Their goals were simple: clean up a park, pick up litter off the streets, prevent landfills from becoming overwasted, and planting a few trees along the way. more
World Sight Day focuses global attention on blindness and vision impairment. Did you know that more than 280 million people worldwide live with low vision or blindness? While the goal is to create awareness to prevent this condition, it's often a disability many people have to live with long-term. Today, we want to share a story about one of our volunteers at the Y, Jeff, who's not letting his lack of vision slow him down from giving back to the community. more
