Insect Invasion

After a long and particularly brutal winter and a spring that wasn't sure when to begin, beautiful weather has finally made it to my hometown Chicago.

Stay-At-Home Mom Blues

When I was working a 9-to-5 job, a coworker of mine told me that having a job was so much easier than being a stay-at-home mom. I nodded and said, "I can imagine." I thought I knew, but I had no idea. Let me be clear, I love being a stay-at-home mom (SAHM). It's not a life I ever envisioned for myself, but it has turned out to be ideal. more
