Job Description:

Dynamic 7,700 member branch; the cornerstone of a unique collaboration with Lake Local Schools, Mercy Medical Center and Lake Library. Candidate must be highly motivated, innovative, organized and possess excellent customer service skills. Flexibility in working with our partners is a must.

Responsibilities include: direction and supervision of program activities to meet the needs of the community and fulfill YMCA objectives; establish new program activities and expands program within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans; develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community organizations. Candidate will also need to recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule and direct personnel and volunteers as needed, as well as assisting in the marketing and distribution of program and branch information. Position requires candidate to develop and monitor programs and branch budget to meet fiscal objectives and to take a leadership role in fund-raising campaign and special events. Must provide leadership and relationship building strategies to increase participation, enrollment, and volunteerism; develop and evaluate services, programs, participation and operations which support the Association's mission and goals within the community; and administer promotional plans to meet branch goals for increased enrollment and new business.

Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, minimum 3 years of strong supervisory and program management experience, superior relationship building skills, computer proficiency, and organization skills, Multi-Team YMCA certification and YMCA experience is strongly preferred.

Salary: $37,000 - $40,000

Additional Compensation Details:

Excellent benefits package including 8% employer funded retirement, 85% employer funded medical and dental, 100% employer funded life insurance and LTD. Minimum of 3 weeks vacation.
