YMCA Training, Inc. is a highly successful, 30-year non-profit professional skills training and employment program. We have helped over 4,550 unemployed and underemployed adults move into skilled administrative support positions across multiple industries. We work with many of Greater Boston's key businesses and institutions. The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new business relationships and managing ongoing relationships that lead to opportunities for employment for program participants
Expand new business relationships and manage ongoing relationships. Create a pipeline of employment opportunities within business organizations. Solicit, respond to, and refer candidates to job openings. Provide adequate and appropriate internship opportunities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding employment trends and job search techniques. Provide weekly classroom instruction on job search techniques and interviewing skills. Assist trainees in their job search. Work with staff and volunteer mentors to support trainee job preparation. Organize tours and business volunteer opportunities. Maintain current, accessible data on employer development and job placement
Salary: $45,000 - $45,000
