YMCA of Northeast Louisiana-Program Director
Teaser: YMCA of Northeast Louisiana seeks a one year grant funded Program Manager for a newly funded position that assists with filling the Louisiana achievement gaps by building the character and self-esteem of school-age youth by teaching them YMCA Core Values in Monroe City and Ouachita Parish Schools in Monroe, and West Monroe, Louisiana.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and creative to lead innovative programming; positive attitude; ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; budget management experience of $100K+; excellent manager of staff hiring and development, and manager of volunteers.
Under the general supervision of the Regional Childcare Director, the Program Director is responsible for the development and management of all delivery and service aspects of the grant that funds his/her position. The Program Director will oversee the delivery of safe and efficient high quality programs for adults and children; this includes supervising and administering the programs to ensure that they meet the highest standards of quality possible. Good public relations between community, participants, families and staff are of the utmost importance for the YMCA. Incumbent must work independently, and as part of the YMCA team to ensure that the YMCA mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy, spirit, mind and body for all is still present in this one year grant funded position.
Education & Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in business, management or a related field is a plus; YMCA Team Leader certification is a plus.
JOB Duties & Responsibilities:
A. Management of assigned departments related to revenue and expenses.
B. Complete all YMCA grant required data entry through the PDM data management system in accordance with the grant.
A. Hire, train, schedule program staff as needed.
B. Conduct yearly evaluations for all part-time staff in concert with Department Leadership.
A. Attend and conduct monthly staff meetings and appropriate training events.
B. Provide for accurate record-keeping of student participation in all areas of the program.
C. Provide concise and accurate record-keeping for all assigned staff operational functions.
D. Implements program marketing including Facebook, Twitter and website upkeep, Program Guide and program fliers in assigned areas.
E. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

Salary Details: $30,000 - $40,000
