YMCA: YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Job Description:

The Eastside YMCA is a full service branch committed to building relationship and engaging youth, teens, and families within the community. This position will manage the daily operations of all youth development department functions. The incumbent will be responsible for the organization, delivery, marketing and high quality of youth development programs. Responsibilities include supervision and training of the program staff and growth and expansion of existing programs in accordance to strategic and operating plans. The ability to coordinate, monitor, and develop outreach strategies to motivate and achieve goals. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. The incumbent must have must possess or have the abiility to obtain the director qualification requirements. Additionally they must have the ability to develop and manage the annual department budget, promote our programs and mission to the community, and recruitment of and relationship building with youth and volunteers is essential. The incumbent will be expected to participant in a leadership role for our annual support campaign and fundraising activities.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in education, administration, social services or related field
  2. Minimum of 2 years of direct youth development experience
  3. Minimum of 2 years supervision experience.
  4. Familiarity with YMCA movement is preferred but not required
  5. Competency in fiscal management,administration, promotion, budgeting, and program management /development is required
  6. Proven skill in developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with community organizations is necessary
  7. Significant experience and ability to work with people from a variety of different ethnic, socioeconomic, educational, religious, sexual and generation backgrounds
  8. Familiarity with surrounding community preferred but not required

Salary: $34,000 - $37,000
