EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR I YMCA: Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA Location: Tampa, FL Job Description: The rapidly changing and dynamic $34 million Association is seeking a proven, self-motivated, cause-driven professional to join the Tampa YMCA team. The Executive Director I will oversee all branch operations for the Plant City branch. The position will be responsible for impacting over 3300 membership units, budgets in excess of $1,480,000 and an annual campaign target of $70,000. Supervisory responsibilities include 3 full-time directors and indirect accountability for over 90 employees. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in the areas of fiscal management, staff leadership and supervision, board development, membership and program development, financial development, facility operations and maintenance. Additional expertise in problem solving, communication and relationship building are a must. The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA is committed to excellence in programs, facilities and relationships. The Executive Director I will actively participate in the Association Executive Leadership team, along with select program cabinets and committees with the goal of achieving the established targets set forth in our Vision 2020 strategic plan. Leadership Brand: Tampa YMCA leaders embrace our charitable mission to care for and serve all people while guaranteeing excellence in programs, facilities, and relationships through an exceptional work ethic and strong management skills. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 3-5 years of experience as a branch executive or related field. Excellent member relations and communication skills are required. Candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A passion for service, quality and the pursuit of excellence are a must. Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background investigation are required. Salary: $59,000 - $72,000 Additional Compensation Details: We offer a growth-oriented work environment near the Gulf Coast of sunny Florida.
