CEO YMCA: YMCA of Southwest Illinois Location: Belleville, IL Job Description: The YMCA of Southwest Illinois Board of Directors is seeking a leader to continue to advance our YMCA mission in the communities we serve, effectively lead the organization to reach its strategic and fiscal objectives, and position the Y as the community leader in the areas of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. In order to be considered, candidates must have a solid business acumen, sound judgment, and exceptional leadership skills. In addition, they must have a proven track record that demonstrates an ability to work with a YMCA Board that focuses on strategic issues rather than operational issues. MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES: 1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3. Personal values consistent with the YMCA mission. 4. Minimum five years prior experience in management with direct supervision of multiple levels of staff and employees. 5. Experience in preparing and managing a budget in excess of $5 million. 6. Experience in fund development and leading annual campaign efforts. 7. Other comparable community-based program management experiences such as demonstrated success in collaborations with community constituencies and associations, and advocating for the agency in the community. PREFERRED CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES: 1. Experience in planned giving, the securing of grants, and other creative revenue streams. 2. Experience in capital development and fundraising. 3. Experience in volunteer development at all levels of the organization. Salary: $155,000 - $180,000 Additional Compensation Details: Benefits per personnel policy: 12% Retirement paid by the Y, vacation and paid time off plan, 100% health, vision, dental, & disability coverage for individual and other benefits per personnel policy (laptop, cell phone, mileage reimbursement, life insurance).HOW TO APPLY Online applications accepted only.
