PRESIDENT/CEO YMCA: YMCA of the Coastal Bend Location: Corpus Christi, TX Job Description: The YMCA of the Coastal Bend CEO/President is responsible for the overall direction and vision of the organization through the remainder of the 3 phase capital improvement project. The CEO/President is accountable for the total performance of the organization consistent with the needs and interest of the Board, participants and community members. Will oversee an annual budget of $1.7 million and ensures that there is alignment between vision and strategy and the operational goals. MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES: 1. Accredited 4-year college degree. 2. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and personal values consistent with the YMCA mission. 3. Minimum five years prior experience in a senior management role with a YMCA or related experience at a comparable organization with direct supervision of multiple levels of staff and employees. 4. Must have the ability to develop and strengthen community relationships. 5. Have the ability to develop new programs, review and enhance programs being offered or considered for both economy and the effectiveness in broadening our engagement in the communities in which we serve. PREFERRED CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES: 1. YMCA Organizational Leader Certification (or obtain within 3 years of employment). 2. Fiscally sound business management approach. 3. Strategic planning and Fundraising experience including annual campaigns and the securing of grants with some experience in turning an organization during an economic downturn. 4. A proven track record of budgetary and fiscal management in excess of $800K or more annually. 5. Highly organized and efficient in operations. 6. Experience with board development, engagement, leadership and recruitment. Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 Additional Compensation Details: Benefits include a defined contribution plan with 10% of salary contributed by the association (when eligibility requirements are met), other benefits as specified in the personnel policy.HOW TO APPLY Online applications accepted only.
