YMCA: YMCA Allard Center

Location: Goffstown, NH

Job Description:

The Allard Center is the largest program and physical branch of a growing 5 branch association. The site features a seventeen acre facility with full day-camp; competitive gymnastics and swimming facilities and programs, 4 indoor tennis courts with thriving USTA youth and adult leagues and instruction, indoor climbing facility with climbing team, on-site child care for ages 5 and older, gymnasium and a full fitness facility. Serving over 6,000 members with a $3.1 million operational budget.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Seeking a strong Y multi-team leader with experience in membership development including acquisition and retention strategies; knowledge and experience in supervising multiple areas of program development and quality initiatives; experience with Annual Campaign and community philanthropic efforts.
  • Along with these skill sets the ideal candidate will also have strong understanding of the day to day operations at a busy full- service recreational facility and a full understanding of administrative operations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three or more years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other not-for-profit recreational agency.
  • Ability to direct assigned operations including volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of budgets, program development and work on Association initiatives as assigned.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and attract a diverse population to a thriving branch.
  • Ability to establish, maintain and grow collaborations with community organizations. Highly organized with a desire to seek new challenges and the ability develop, evaluate and oversee quality programs and services.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, recreation management or a related field.
  • YMCA Multi-Team/Branch Leader certification preferred.

Salary: $44,500 - $56,000
