VICE PRESIDENT, CMS SMALL AND MID-SIZE YMCAS YMCA: YMCA of the USA Location: Chicago, IL Job Description: GENERAL FUNCTIONS This position supports the COO as the primary liaison for the national office relationship to small and mid-size YMCAs in an effort to support their work in local communities. The Vice President is also responsible for the overall leadership for all associations to gain and maintain their membership in the YMCA of the USA. The CMS department serves as advocates for and monitors member association's compliance to local, state, federal and YMCA of the USA rules, regulations and best practices. This role will be based in Chicago, IL. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
EFFECT ON END RESULTS/STRATEGIC IMPACT This position is responsible for ensuring positive relationships between Y-USA and small to mid-size YMCAs throughout the country. This will be accomplished by ensuring Y-USA services are meeting the needs of local YMCAs. The position is also responsible for leading efforts to implement, monitor and enforce membership policies and procedures of the YMCA of the USA as determined by the NCMS, and assisting YMCAs in the improvement necessary to maintain YMCA of the USA membership and serve local communities.
