MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR YMCA: Palm Beaches Metropolitan YMCA Location: West Palm Beach, FL Job Description: MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR Under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Membership Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of the membership department for the YMCA of the Palm Beaches. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The scope of responsibilities includes, but is not limited to: development and implementation of membership retention plans and strategies to increase member retention, member satisfaction, development, fiscal management, and the operations of the member service desk. The Membership Director will develop and implement marketing and public relations plan to attract and retain new members. This position will also be responsible for the hiring, training, and evaluation of member service desk staff to maximize customer service provided by the branch with the direct goal of raising membership retention. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Major Functions: Responsible for the development and control of membership budget. Meet all goals in membership sales and retention. Monitor progress of budgeted revenues/expenses to maintain a positive variance. Member retention will be focused on and measured monthly. Responsible for informing members/staff on new program development as it relates to facility goals. Responsible for the recruitment, supervision, training, evaluation and recognition of staff as necessary to ensure quality member service. Develop and coordinate staff training to implement member-centered culture. Attend management staff meetings. Develop and monitor member retention practices that will welcome and retain members Additional Compensation Details: The YMCA offers health and dental insurance, 12% retirement, paid time off and complimentary use of YMCA facilities.
