DEVELOPMENT/SYSTEM ANALYST

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Data Services, the Development Systems/Analyst assists with existing as well as leads his/her own data integrity and reporting projects to support the needs of the Mission Advancement Department. Responsible for uploading, maintaining and reporting Mission advancement data in Raiser's Edge system, as well as working with Mission Advancement staff and other stakeholders to ensure data needs are met for the purpose of successful fundraising efforts.

Scope and Responsibilities:

• Fulfill data update requests from Mission Advancement team to keep the database of record up to date and complete with valid/useful data.
• Complete data integrity tasks to purge outdated/incomplete /unusable information from the database as well as update the database with corrected information.
• Gather data from reliable internal data sources and format into compatible imports for the system ofrecord.
• Identify data inconsistencies through analysis and determine the most efficient process to correct the data as well as prevent further entry of invalid data.
• Assist Development Coordinator with gift processing.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or 3+ years system analyst experience.
• Must be a proactive and creative problem solver, must be able to work both independentlyand with a broad range of internal and external partners.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using database applications (Raisers Edge) with experience in importing andexporting data from the system.
• Must demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills with outstandingattention to detail and ability to uphold deadlines.
• Must have experience with Blackbaud, NetCommunity, Business Objects, Crystal Reports and MicrosoftSharePoint; perferred experience using VBA.
