Position Description and Board Expectations:
An outstanding opportunity for an experienced and proven CEO to build on the successful legacy of this 125 year old Y, and take it to new levels of strengthening the foundations of community. The Ozarks Regional YMCA (ORY) is an association with 9 locations, including a 140 acre resident camp. Successful collaborations with municipalities and other non-profits have led to significant growth over the past 15 years. The Board of Directors is seeking a CEO who can focus on improving the operating performance, including preparation and management of the budget; work with volunteers to write and implement a strategic plan; and has the enthusiasm and passion to build a cohesive and effective staff team by engraining themselves into the culture of the Y. Furthermore, someone with a heart for the Y, strong belief in the mission, and to be a visible advocate for the Y in the community is required. South central Missouri offers an excellent quality of life, with low cost of living, and ample opportunities foroutdoor recreation, education, arts, and cultural events.
