PROPERTY MANAGER
YMCA: South City Family YMCA
Location: St. Louis, MO
Job Description:
Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Property Manager is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning grounds, parking grounds and other assets of the Association. This position also provides leadership to the maintenance and custodial staff of the branch. Perform all duties with honesty, caring, respect, responsibility and faith.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the facilities and grounds.
- Provide positive leadership of staff.
- Assist with repair and maintenance as needed.
- Oversee and comply with preventative maintenance program.
- Provide Administrative organization and oversight for the departments.
- Budget development and adherence.
- Provide positive customer service to members and staff.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience in Facility Management, minimum of 3-5 years experience in related position with special skills, licenses, certifications or equipment.
- Certified in CPR PR, AED, Oxygen, and First Aid (must be certified within 30 days of employment).
- P.O.O.L required and related certification a plus.
- Requires proven supervisory skills to lead and motivate staff team.
- Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and be computer literate.
- Must be extremely organized, accurate, reliable, and diligent in meeting deadlines.
- Candidate must possess knowledge and skills in all areas of Facility Management: preparation, planning, training, inventory control, ordering, accounting, budget control and all phases of regulatory compliance, safety, construction, water & sanitation, building repair and equipment maintenance and operation.
- Requires strong problem solving skills and the ability to exercise good judgment when dealing with all types of emergency situations.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to articulate the Mission of the YMCA to staff, volunteers and the community.

Salary: $32,500 - $40,500
