CHILD DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Under the direction of the Senior Director of Youth Development, the Child Development Director is responsible for the daily operation and management of the full-day Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC), which includes the Infant and 1-2 year old programs.
• The Child Development Director is also responsible for the daily operation and management of the Preschool Summer Camp program.
• Duties include supervision of ECLC and Preschool Summer Camp staff, ensuring compliance with all Department of Welfare regulations, curriculum design, and budget management.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or the Human Services field.
• A minimum of 1 year of supervisory and teaching experience.
• Knowledge of Department of Public Welfare (DPW), PA. Keystone STARS, and Chester County Information Services (CCIS) regulations a plus.

Salary: $31,000 - $34,000
