PROGRAM DIRECTOR

YMCA: GLOW YMCA, Inc.

Location: Batavia, NY

Job Description:

The GLOW YMCA, a (4) Branch Association including a residential summer camp located in western New York has an immediate opening for a dynamic program leader to develop and implement programs within the Livingston County service area. The Program Director is responsible and accountable for all program and operational aspects of the non-facility branch including but not limited to:

Program Development

Off site Facility Management

Volunteer/Staff & Community Development

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Program Director will develop, implement and supervise all programs in establishing a presence in the community along with managing a $100,000 budget. Preferred candidates will have experience in program development, community engagement, project management, and annual support campaign, staff leadership along with policy and committee volunteer development. Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communications skills.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in related field is required; Team Leader Certification preferred (or within first two years of employment). Experience in program development and being a self started is preferred.

Salary: $28,275 - $32,000

Additional Compensation Details:

8% Retirement (5% YMCA, 3% Employee) upon eligibility, vacation, holiday, medical, dental, and life insurance benefits in accordance with the YMCA personnel policy.
