Job Description:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four-year degree in marketing, business administration, or related fields
- Strong Experience in the field of sales, customer relations, and marketing
- Proven success in areas such as membership growth and retention
- Experience with data management systems and tools to maintain membership base
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing and monitoring budgets
- Hardworking and energetic leadership style
- Bilingual with the ability to speak Spanish a plus
- YMCA Senior Program Director certification
- Passion for the YMCA mission and the concept of team
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: - Engage in active listening with members and staff (using Listen First Skills)
- Has an understanding and appreciation for diversity in dealing with staff/members
- Supports the YMCA vision of Strengthening the foundations of community.
- Communicate YMCA stories and impact
CRITICAL DELIVERABLE COMPONENTS:
- Build a connected staff team committed to listening, building relationships and serving the health seeker
- Recruit, retain, orient, train and supervise staff in order to ensure that all membership functions are developed and followed in an effective and timely manner
- Develop and execute yearly marketing and pr campaigns
- Provide excellent member service by exceeding member expectations
- Create a culture of departmental connection to create a climate for effective communication to our members.
- Membership Development & Retention: Meets branch goals for member acquisition and retention.
- Membership Satisfaction: Increase membership satisfaction results in key areas such as 7 drivers of member loyalty and member engagement.
- Fiscal Management: Ability to monitor and develop the membership budget.
- Promotion & Marketing: Ability to develop annual marketing & promotions plan that encompasses the full membership experience.
- Volunteer Recruitment: Increases member participation through the areas of fundraising, special events, and task force groups.
- Staff Development: Uses a hands-on approach to instructing staff and provides the model for superior member service.
- Community Relations: Builds and maintains the support of several community partners including; schools, hospitals, small businesses, corporations, and civic leaders.
Salary: $40,000 - $45,000
