EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
YMCA: YMCA of Greater Rochester

Job Description:
A wonderful opportunity for a dynamic and successful YMCA professional to lead a large, progressive suburban YMCA serving the northwest suburb of the greater Rochester area drawing from a population over 150,000.Facility built in 1972, has undergone many renovations and improvements and now totals 60,000 square feet. Including two pools (six lane and warm water pool), 10,000 sq. ft. wellness center, gymnasium, family adventure and child watch center, teen and senior center, and new 2,600 sq. ft. school age child care addition in 2009.
Branch operations include Camp Northpoint, a beautiful 45 acre property housing the branch summer day camp, sports programs, and state-of-the-art outdoor aquatics complex.The branch serves a diverse population of age groups, and a large and growing population of seniors. Branch provides a full-range of membership and programmatic offerings, including wellness, senior programming, youth sports, teen programming, preschool and nursery school, school age child care and extensive summer day camp and member activity at Camp Northpoint.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The position reports to the District Executiveand requires a bachelor's degree and seven years of YMCA or equivalent experience. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills to positively engage and develop a large full and part-time staff team. Candidate must also have demonstrated success and experience in annual fund raising, facility management oversight and board development.

Salary: $85,000 - $90,000
