PROGRAM DIRECTOR

The Y is searching for a Program Director for YMCA Ayrlawn Program Center.

The Program Director is under the supervisor of the Sr. Program Director/ Associate Executive Director. Primary responsibilities include the development and implementation of a safe and nurturing environment; direct responsibility for implementation of all program goals, in the areas of social, educational and child growth and development; provide oversight of the day to day operation of the program.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years experience working with children and adults in an education/recreation environment; Must be an effective leader with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship building abilities, and problem solving strategies; Coordinates use of branch facilities for program activities and events; Assist staff in the establishment of program activities and expands programs within the community in accordance with the Association and branch strategic plans; Assists in branch fund raising activities and special events; Demonstrated financial management and budgeting skills; Must be physically active to play games and sports with the children; Must have visual acuity to observe all children.

Salary: $37,500 - $37,500
