Camp Location: Silver Springs, NY

Camp Description: Located in the rolling hills of Wyoming County, just west of the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York. Camp Hough’s 400 feet of lakeshore combined with huge hardwoods, open fields and a grove of Red Pines, provides a beautiful natural backdrop to a wide range of land and water based activities for campers ages 6-14. Campers may have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities such as boating, swimming, rock climbing, arts and crafts, team building, drama, low and high ropes, archery, cook outs, sleep outs, and so much more.

YMCA Location: Batavia, NY

Job Description and Required Certifications: The Aquatics Director is responsible for the general day-to-day delivery of and safety of the aquatic programming (swimming and boating) at YMCA Camp Hough. The Aquatics Director will oversee lifeguards during each program day and help schedule staff as necessary. This position will also be responsible for lesson plans, daily class instruction, equipment management and inventory, and general program area maintenance. Must have experience as a lifeguard. Canoeing, kayaking, sailing experience preferred. Waterfront Lifeguarding and Water Safety Instructor or YMCA Swimming Instructor certification will be required.

Salary Information: $325-$350/week
