Camp Location: Augusta, MI
Camp Description: Serving campers ages 8-16 in coed classic resident camp programs and a variety of specialty camps as well as leadership camp opportunities for high school students.

Job Description and Required Certifications: Camp health officers are responsible for the safety of campers and staff under the supervision of the camp nurse. The position requires an ability to live by and teach the four principles of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility. Assist the camp nurse with check-in on Sundays with camper screening, check-in of medication, perform health checks, provide first aid when needed, distribute medication. Be available overnight on camp to provide health care support to the campers and staff. Minimum age of 20 years, at least one year prior high school, Certification by American Red Cross - Responding to Emergencies and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and the Health Care Provider. Prefer nursing student or nursing degree or certification in wilderness first aid or EMT certification.
Salary Information: $270/week - $320/week dependent upon experience
