Camp Location: Richmond, NH
Camp Description: Located on Sandy Pond, Camp Wiyaka is a wonderful place for children ages 7 15 to spend a week (or two or five) exploring, discovering, and creating lasting friendships. There are over 60 acres of woods and fields and a 23 acre lake. Our staff season typically runs from late June to mid-August which includes a Staff Orientation week prior to campers arrival. Our resident camp can accommodate about 70 campers per week, and our daily schedule allows the children to participate in traditional camp offerings such as swimming, boating, doing arts and crafts, archery, playing sports and games, learning about nature, and more. Nightly sing-along campfires, family style meals, and platform tents have been a part of Camp Wiyaka tradition since 1921. Please see our website at www.campwiyaka.org for more information.

Job Description and Required Certifications: The Assistant Camp Director is responsible for helping the Camp Director oversee the daily operation of the residential summer camp program including food service, daily activities, business, human resource matters, camper and staff supervision, safety, and health care. The Assistant Camp Director should have experience supervising others, organization skills, and knowledge of the workings in a summer camp environment. The Assistant Camp Director will need the desire and ability to live and work in a camp setting. A Bachelors degree in recreation, education, or a related field is desired but not required. The Assistant Camp Director is required to have current AED, CPR, and First Aid certifications for adults and children by the start of the summer season and certifications that are valid throughout the season. Individual applying must be 21 years of age.
Salary Information: Salary Range: $2,500 - $3,000
