Camp Description: Nestled among the tall pines on 530 acres along the shores of Lake Livingston, the brand new, state of the art YMCA Camp Cullen offers boys and girls ages 7-16 the experience of a lifetime. Campers take part in a wide range of activities including water sports, horseback riding, a ropes course, nature exploration, drama and so much more. In addition to the many fun activities available, the campers also gather as a cabin group each day where they play, learn and bond together while participating in fun activities like campfires and scavenger hunts.

Job Description and Required Certifications: The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a dynamic and innovative Youth Development Senior Director-Camping Services at our brand new, state of the art YMCA Camp Cullen located in Trinity, TX. As a member of the Camp leadership team, this position will be responsible for managing the business operation of the camp as well as play a key role in recruiting and training staff and marketing and planning camp activities. In addition, this position will build and maintain relationships with our customers, members, other YMCA centers, and vendors. This is an excellent prospect for a tenured staff who achieves positive outcomes by utilizing strong customer service and problem solving skills. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience and minimum 5+ years progressive professional experience in camp operations, guest relations, office/business management or other related fields. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated competencies in the areas of relationship building, communication, organization, and resource development. Ability to work with all levels of staff, management and volunteers is a must!
