Camp Description: Spend time outdoors and indoors as experienced staff lead adventures that promote a healthy spirit, mind and body. Going to a summer camp is not only a memory that your child will cherish forever, but it also has the potential to change their life. As our children today are surrounded by modern technology, spending time in the great outdoors can be an eye-opening and rewarding experience. Summer camp allows your child the opportunity to learn new skills, form wonderful relationships with their peers and learn more about themselves.

Job Description and Required Certifications: Responsible for assisting in the continued development of the Outdoor Education Program. Responsibilities include both Leadership, utilizing teambuilding, ropes and climbing wall, and Environmental Education. Candidate will be expected to facilitate teambuilding activities including, ropes (both high and low) and climbing programs. Responsible for teaching environmental education programs. Assist with weekend adventure programming and further development of all programs. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelors degree in environmental education, general education, recreation, or equivalent education experience. Course work towards a degree may also be acceptable. Ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with at least one year of experience facilitating Outdoor Education Programs. CPR/First Aid required. Lifeguard certification preferred. Candidate must possess the ability to perform moderate physical activity, adapt to changing work conditions, work with diverse groups of people, and work with minimal supervision. Good organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people are required.
Salary Information: $50-$70 per day
