Job Description and Required Certifications: Under the direct supervision of the Camp Director, the Cook orders, prepares and cooks food and have overall responsibility for the kitchen operation ensuring a positive working environment consistent with the camp goals. Scope and Responsibilities: order food and provisions based on menu and inventory needs; prepare all meals; dish food for serving; put away food; work with Outpost Director and Tripping Director on out of camp meal requests, snacks, etc.; advise Camp Director of problems; advise Camp Director of menu changes, use of leftovers, and other related problems; train staff in kitchen procedures and cleanliness procedures; supervise overall kitchen cleanliness; other duties as assigned.
Salary Information: $10-$15 per hour
