Camp Name: Shady Brook
Camp Location: Sedalia, CO
Camp Description: YMCA Camp Shady Brook is located 90 minutes Southwest of Denver on the South Platte River, nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains at 6800 feet in elevation. We have an amazing summer staff of 50 talented people from all over the world to bring approximately 150 campers to camp for 10 different weeks each summer. We believe strongly in our mission and are highly selective in our staff hiring. We create a world for children as it is supposed to be: a safe, fun community of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility, specializing in giving children a memorable summer experience that will help shape the rest of their lives.

Job Description and Required Certifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED): HS Diploma and one of the following; a minimum of a two year trade or vocational education, sanctioned apprenticeship program or comparable education and/or 5 years experience; Experience in Financial Management; Previous experience of facility, grounds, cleanliness & maintenance; Proven customer service skills; Applicant must be a self-directed, motivated individual and have high standards for cleanliness, facility appearance, and services; Ability to move freely through extensive acreage, lift up to 100lbs, and work on multi levels (floors, ladders, etc.); Clean Driving Record; Current First Aid, CPR & AED certifications; PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous Housekeeping/Facility Management Experience; Previous Resident Camp or Conference Center Experience; Journeymans License; Previous Food Service/Kitchen Management Experience; KEY FOCUS AREAS: Maintenance & cleanliness of Facility and Equipment; Budget Management; Repair, renovation, and refurbishment projects; Positive member and staff relations
Salary Information: $29,500 - $34,000 plus housing; 12% retirement benefit after requirements are met
