MEDIA DIRECTOR Camp Name: YMCA Camp Mason Camp Location: Hardwick, NJ Camp Description: 460-acres of ridges, valleys, ponds, streams and trails cover the property of YMCA Camp Mason. We are located in northwestern New Jersey just outside the 70,000-acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, one of the last true wilderness areas in the northeastern United States. This setting affords us almost limitless opportunities to engage in outdoor fun and promote living a conscious lifestyle. Sponsoring YMCA: Camp Ralph S. Mason YMCA YMCA Location: Hardwick, NJ Job Description and Required Certifications: The media specialists main responsibility will be taking a broad base of pictures and/or video to be used in daily website updates, slide shows and marketing material. This person must feel comfortable circulating in all aspects of the camp program. Other duties include: cataloging photos for future retrieval, download photos to website, update website with text and photos, compiling and creating session ending slide shows, and other various responsibilities listed below. This position demands commitment to the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. It requires a consistently high energy level, bursts of creativity, a healthy dose of humor, the ability to recognize great photographic opportunities and turn them into usable material, and the desire to be a positive influence on the lives of children.
