CAMP COUNSELOR (RESIDENT CAMP AND DAY CAMP) Camp Name: YMCA Camp Mason Camp Location: Hardwick, NJ Camp Description: 460-acres of ridges, valleys, ponds, streams and trails cover the property of YMCA Camp Mason. We are located in northwestern New Jersey just outside the 70,000-acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, one of the last true wilderness areas in the northeastern United States. This setting affords us almost limitless opportunities to engage in outdoor fun and promote living a conscious lifestyle. Sponsoring YMCA: Camp Ralph S. Mason YMCA YMCA Location: Hardwick, NJ Job Description and Required Certifications: JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (REQUIRED) Strong leadership skills and a professional character that is consistent, capable, self-directed, well organized, flexible, personable, and is able to maintain composure in a changing environment. Experience working at a camp or residential education center, leading related activities. The ability to complete the full term of the position. (PREFERRED) First Aid & CPR certification. Wilderness First Aid certification. Lifeguard certification. Belay experience or interest in learning. Valid drivers license and clean record a plus. COMPENSATION/BENEFITS/HOUSING: Room & Board and cafeteria style meals are provided. Salary is commensurate with experience. Workmans Compensation Insurance provided to all staff. APPLICATION DEADLINE: February 1, 2013. DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: June 9, 2013- August 18, 2013. Must be able to commit to entire season.
