CAMP COUNSELOR Camp Name: YMCA Camp Dudley - WA State Camp Location: Yakima, WA Camp Description: YMCA Camp Dudley is a traditional co-ed summer residence camp situated on 13 acres of Forest Service property in the beautiful Wenatchee National Forest. Our site, adjacent to Clear Lake, looks into the Goat Rocks Wilderness along the Pacific Crest Trail. Sponsoring YMCA: YMCA of Yakima YMCA Location: Yakima, WA Job Description and Required Certifications: Head Counselors are responsible for daily care and leadership of a small group of campers. Counseling staff lead activities, create interpersonal relationships between cabin groups, role model positive behavior, and much more. Energy, enthusiasm, a positive attitude toward life, creativity, the ability to communicate, and a willingness to share yourself are extremely important. Head Counselor applicants should be a minimum of19 years of age, and have one year of college or the equivalent Salary Information: $1700.00 for 7 weeks of employment plus room and board.
