MEDIA COORDINATOR Camp Name: Camp Tippecanoe Camp Location: Tippecanoe, OH Camp Description: YMCA Camp Tippecanoe is located 1 hour south of Canton, OH on lake Clendening in Harrison County. Camp Tippecanoe has been impacting campers since 1958 with a heritage of I AM THIRD, good character values and making friendships. We are a traditional overnight resident camp focusing our efforts on making connections with each other. Our camp community stresses the importance of being yourself in a loving and nonjudgmental environment. Come and let the real person inside can shine at camp. Sponsoring YMCA: YMCA Camp Tippecanoe YMCA Location: Tippecanoe, OH Job Description and Required Certifications: INTERNSHIP POSSIBILITY Must be 19 years of age with 2 years photo/video experience and education. Earn $210/week + room & board. *A media portfolio covering photography, video production and social media required at interview. Camp Tippecanoe is seeking college students willing to be professional role models for the summer for kids ages 7 to 17. Applicants should have a love for the outdoors, a passion to make a difference in a kids life and playful spirit. Tippecanoe has created a culture of excellence through hiring quality staff, putting the campers first and promoting good character values. So come and spend the summer with us to lead by example, be a positive role model and to just be you. Salary Information: Salary range is $1260 $1800 for the summer depending on the position and job experience. Housing and meals are provided for the summer. Staff must live at camp. Enjoy one evening off a week, 1-2 hours each day & 2 hours some evenings. Time off can be spent in our staff lounge with internet and phone access.
