SEASONAL LEADERSHIP DIRECTOR Camp Name: YMCA Camp Matawa Camp Location: Campbellsport, WI Camp Description: YMCA Camp Matawa is a fun, safe place where kids experience a wide variety of camp activities such as: horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, crafts, climbing, archery, and swimming-just to name a few! YMCA Location: Milwaukee, WI Job Description and Required Certifications: YMCA Camp Matawa is a fun, safe place where kids experience a wide variety of camp activities such as: horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, crafts, climbing, archery, and swimming-just to name a few! YMCA Camp Matawa serves kids ages 7-17 and strives to provide exceptional programming and enriching life experiences! Major Responsibilities: Collaborate with a co-director to plan and implement creative teen leadership programs within camps guidelines Responsible for direct supervision of teen leadership campers on and off site Committed to making a positive impact in the lives of the teens we serve through excellent program and providing honest, written feedback Serve as role models for all staff and campers Qualifications: 21+ years of age and 2+ years experience working in a camp setting and/or with teens in a leadership program preferred Lifeguard certified or willing to become life guard certified before summer Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to build relationships with people of all ages Ability to work as part of a team Must exhibit the core values of caring, respect, responsibility and honesty First Aid and CPR certified before the start of staff training Salary Information: $230 per week Room and Board Provided: Yes How to Apply: Deadline: April 15, 2013 or until position has been filled.
