RESIDENT CAMP COUNSELOR Camp Name: YMCA Camp Potawotami Camp Location: South Milford, IN Camp Description: At YMCA Camp Potawotami, we focus on the ABCs of Camping - working to increase camper's sense of accomplishment and belonging while they learn about positive character traits and values. Sponsoring YMCA: Camp Potawotami Branch YMCA YMCA Location: South Milford, IN Job Description and Required Certifications: YMCA Camp Potawotami is looking for individuals interested in becoming a Summer Resident Camp Counselor. Our program provides a week long overnight experience for kids from 6-16. Counselors are responsible for teaching skill classes, running cabin activities, overseeing campers emotional and physical safety, singing songs, and roasting the perfect smore. Counselors should be excellent role models, outdoorsy, creative, safety-conscious, and caring. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have one year of college.
