CAMP DIRECTOR Camp Name: Camp Topanemus Camp Location: Millstone, NJ Camp Description: 35 acre day camp, includes 2 swimming pools, archery, splash park, ropes challenge course and sports fields. Sponsoring YMCA: YMCA of Western Monmouth County YMCA Location: Freehold, NJ Job Description and Required Certifications: YMCA Camp Topanemus located in Millstone, NJ seeks an experienced Day Camp Director with strong leadership qualities who believes in the value of the camp experience to positively change lives. The Camp Director will be responsible for all aspects of summer day camp, rentals and development of year-round programming. This includes, but is not limited to staffing, programming, facility management, marketing, parent communications, social media and business management. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in recreation, education or related field. Must have 3-4 years of previous camp experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. This is a full-time exempt position. Benefits include: paid vacation, health/dental insurance and enrollment in the YMCA Retirement Fund after 2 years of employment.
