Rainy Vacation

Finish What You Started

Over on our runner's blog, Coach Tony Van D would probably give you the following advice: If you start a race, finish it. We happen to know this is good advice - take for instance, Mamie who would argue it's not how fast you run the race but that you finish at all. We love that. As such, crossing the finish could also apply to everything else in life, especially when we, young leaders, seem to be part of the "Now" generation: Instant access. Instant feedback. Inspiring Running Performances of the Week

Jenny Simpson placed second at the Paris Diamond Leage meet on Saturday with a huge PR of 3:57.22, just .10 shy of Mary Slaney's 31 year-old American record of 3:57.12. Simpson has been running consistently great all season and has a great chance at improving her time this summer. Shannon Rowbury also ran a milestone PR, breaking 4:00 for the first time. more
