Everybody cut, everybody cut. If you didn't know, it's the 30th anniversary of Footloose. And for the younger moms out there, we don't know what else to say except watch the 1984 original before you dive into the remake. But here's something for all the kids: dancing. And our Ys across the country may have just the class for you!
- Dance Jam for Beginners. Kids will be able to learn confidence, discipline and fun choreography. Students will enjoy an aerobic warm-up followed by a section focused on learning new moves (old school and current) that they will be able to incorporate into a final dance routine that will be performed on the last day of class.
- Country Line Dances. Get your kids two-stepping today. Leather-soled shoes required!
- Preschool Dance. This program focuses on teaching rhythm and creative momevent as well as developing technique in ballet, tap, and hip-hop/jazz.
- Hip-Hop Hustle. You’ll burn up the dance floor while you burn calories in this class. Hip-Hop Hustle™ blends hip-hop and other groovy dance moves. Kids 10-14 allowed with parent or guardian.
Do your kids have the moves? Share some stories below about your kids dancing to the music!
