My daughter had her 12-month pediatrician visit yesterday and like all of the appointments before it, I was a little nervous. Check-up visits as a mom feel a lot like getting a report card of progress report. Maybe I’m overthinking this, but it feels a lot like being graded.  more

The More the Merrier

As the old saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child." I can think of no truer words since I’ve become a mom. It also takes a village to throw a 1-year-old’s birthday party (in my case).
